After Laba is the Spring Festival. In order to promote the civilized practice of respecting, loving and helping the elderly, enhance the sense of gain and happiness of the elderly, and find the flavor of the Spring Festival, Shitai Guniujiang Scenic Area held a unique selenium meal centenarian banquet activity, delivering the flavor and warmth of the Spring Festival in the most down-to-earth way. This activity is hosted by Chizhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Shitai County People's Government; undertaken by Shitai County Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Party Committee and Government of Dayan Township, and Shitai Guniujiang Scenic Area Management Center; and co-organized by Shitai Tourism Development Co., Ltd. and Shitai County Cultural Center.
The programs are diverse and wonderful.
At the scene of the event, "Songs of Prosperity", Huangmei Drama, Shitai Folk Songs, Mulian Drama... took turns to be staged. The actors presented a wonderful cultural performance for the elderly, and presented melodious Huangmei songs and traditional opera performances with local characteristics for the "centenarians" who participated in the event.
Taste the selenium meal, the taste is strong and warm
Subsequently, during the event, Shitai Yipin Pot was cooked on site at Julong Guniujiang Hotel. Dishes of selenium-rich meals with strong local characteristics appeared before people's eyes, allowing everyone to taste health-preserving delicacies while participating in the event. Dozens of "centenarians" chatted while eating. Whether they were strangers or acquaintances, at this moment, everyone gathered together. The activity of writing couplets and giving out the character "Fu". Calligraphy teachers show their unique skills, with their brushes flowing like dragons and snakes. The on-site audience is highly enthusiastic. The works are vivid and full of charm. As the brush falls on the red paper, the fragrance of ink spreads everywhere. One after another couplets full of a strong flavor of the Spring Festival and beautiful blessings are presented before our eyes.
During the Spring Festival, Guniujiang will continuously stage collisions between intangible cultural heritage and traditional New Year customs. Cultural performances of "intangible cultural heritage" with local characteristics of Shitai, such as lantern parades, lantern festivals, and dragon lantern dances, will be constantly on show. Shitai Gu Niu Descent Scenic Area is located in the mysterious 30 degrees north latitude. The forest coverage rate of the scenic area is more than 97%. The negative oxygen ion content is the highest among similar scenic spots in the country, with an average of 71,438/cm3, which is 70 times the fresh air standard defined by the World Health Organization. It is one of the first "China Natural Oxygen Bars".
