The first Anhui Province "Wanmei Landscape" cycling competition starts at Shitai Station with passion!

On November 20th, the Dalong Bay Shitai Grand Canyon rafting was very lively. The first Anhui Province "Wanmei Landscape Cycling Race" Shitai Station and the first China Shitai Road Cycling Open Championship arrived as scheduled. Team members and cycling enthusiasts from all over Anhui Province will set off from here for a windbreaking trip.
The competition begins!
At 9:30 in the morning, with the starting gun firing, nearly 500 contestants rushed across the starting point like arrows leaving the bow and began a fierce competition. In an instant, the colorful cycling teams on the track chased each other, crossing National Highway 237, Jinqian Mountain Road, and encountering Provincial Highway 473. The whole journey is 38 kilometers. Shuttling between beautiful mountains and waters, breathing fresh air, presenting a scene of "speed and passion".
The finish line of the competition is set at Longmen Villa in Guniujiang Scenic Area. After intense competition, the No. 38 contestant from the men's road elite group was the first to cross the finish line and won applause from the on-site audience.

After the competition, the contestants met their teachers in the Longmen Villa Square in the Guniu Descent Scenic Area and took a break. The organizing committee carefully prepared ginger tea, mineral water and other drinks for the contestants.

"Wanmei Landscape" - Shitai Station
Shitai is located in the hinterland of the mountainous area in southern Anhui Province. There are overlapping mountains, clear streams and fresh air in the territory. 98% of the land area of the whole county is rich in selenium element and is one of the selenium-rich areas in China. The Qiupu River and Guniujiang scenic area passed by this cycling race are one of the popular tourist attractions in Shitai County.
Qiupu River, formerly known as Qiupu River, also known as Yunxi River, is a tributary of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The dense vegetation on both sides of the river makes the river green all year round. On the river, "The mountains are full of egrets, and the rivers are full of white apes."
