Liparis dunnii is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Orchidaceae family and is a national rare and endangered protected plant. Its pseudobulbs are clustered and ovoid in shape. There are two leaves which are membranous, elliptical or ovate-elliptical in shape. The base of the leaves suddenly narrows into a sheathing petiole. The edges of the leaves are slightly wavy and have very fine teeth. The scape is erect with narrow wings and stands much higher than the leaves. The raceme has many sparsely arranged flowers.
